Duties: This entry-level position will consist of the following duties and responsibilities under the close supervision of upper management:
Analyze business procedures and problems within each of our specific departments and as a whole.
Model and analyze management related issues using various mathematical and statistical techniques.
Compile reports of the cost and expenses to make revisions or upgrading of the systems and the time required for the new systems and methods to be put up and implemented.

Required: Masters Degree in Operations Research, Management, or Business Administration.

Salary: $21.93 per hour for 40 hours a week.

Product Line Manager
Product Line Manager
Source Photonics is a market-leading supplier of transceivers for Metro, Access, and Fiber-to-the-
Home applications. The company is enjoying tremendous success and growth on all product
lines, with dominant market share on the FTTH market, and a significant and growing market
share on metro transceivers, in particular CWDM/DWDM products. The Product Management
team is highly technical and central to all business decisions setting direction and impacting the
success of the company. To support our growth and further strengthen the management team,
we are seeking an experienced Product Line Manager.
The product management team works closely with Engineering on key technical design trade-offs
that define the products, as well as setting priorities and direction for development projects. The
company has transceiver design teams and manufacturing in China and Taiwan. Product
Management responsibility covers activities across all facilities; the product manager plays a key
role in coordination of efforts between the teams. In addition, the Product Managers are engaged
with Sales on strategy, customer engagements and sampling, and Operations on production
priorities.
Responsibilities:
· Manage products through entire lifecycle from market assessment and product
requirements definition to release
· Setting product line strategy and product roadmap
· Define product requirements, and development priorities
· High-level technical and commercial customer engagements
· Set Production priorities when required
· Develop marketing material and Sales presentations
Qualifications:
· Relevant technical background (MS or PhD) with industry design/R&D experience
· Product management or similar experience from telecom or optical components industry
· Excellent communication skills
· Mandarin language a plus
This position reports to the Sr. Director of Global Product Management. It is a high-level
opportunity to be part of a dynamic and focused group of motivated individuals. The environment
is highly collaborative and centered on team work. Travel to China is expected 15-25% of the
time.

Application Engineer
Application Engineer
Source Photonics is a market-leading supplier of transceivers for Metro, Access, and Fiber-to-the-
Home applications. The company is enjoying tremendous success and growth on all product
lines, with dominant market share on the FTTH market, and a significant and growing market
share on metro transceivers, in particular CWDM/DWDM products. The Product Management
team is highly technical and central to all business decisions setting direction and impacting the
success of the company.
The Application Engineer will function with autonomy while operating collaboratively within the
Product Line Management and Product Management Groups within Source Photonics. In
addition, the AE will provide support for our Sales Team and become a Key Contact interfacing
as a technical liaison with our largest Customers. In this role, the AE is required to communicate
complex technical information to customers, as well as collect customer information and
disseminate this back to the internal organization. This includes organization of customer
requirements and assisting in synthesizing these to product development goals and roadmaps.
As a key member of the Product Management Group, the AE must be able to analyze data,
understand our production processes, and set specifications for proper yield and
manufacturability. The AE must also demonstrate the ability to keep others appropriately
informed; the judgment to know when to seek additional information and assistance from the
group, and the willingness to participate as a team member within the Group.
