Near Margalit, Ph.D., has served as Chief Executive Officer of Source Photonics since February 2003, and has been on our Board of Directors since 2010. From February 2003 to July 2007 he also served as our President. From May 2002 until February 2003, he served MRV as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.From 1998 until May 2003, Dr. Margalit was founder, Chairman and Chief Technology Officer for Zaffire, Inc., a DWDM Metro Platform company, which was acquired by Centerpoint in October 2001. At Zaffire, Dr. Margalit was responsible for product vision and architecture of integrating DWDM and SONET technology. Prior to founding Zaffire, Dr. Margalit was employed by MRV, both in the optical component and networking divisions. Dr. Margalit earned a Bachelor of Science degree in applied physics from the California Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in optoelectronics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Alexis Black Bjorlin, Ph.D., has served as our President since July 2007, and has been on our Board of Directors since 2010. From February 2005 through July 2007, she served as our Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. From March 2003 through February 2005, Dr. Black Bjorlin served as our Vice President, Product Line Management and Corporate Marketing. From June 2002 through February, 2003, she was Director of Product Management for MRV. Prior to this, she served as Chief Optical Architect for Zaffire, Inc, a DWDM Metropolitan Networks company, which was acquired by Centerpoint Broadband Technologies in October 2001. Dr. Black Bjorlin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Optoelectronics from University of California, Santa Barbara.

Brett Chloupek |

Brett Chloupek has served as our Chief Financial Officer since December 2006. In June 2007, Mr. Chloupek was appointed as our corporate Secretary. From April 2006 to December 2006, Mr. Chloupek served Jabil Circuit, Inc. (NYSE: JBL), a global leader in electronics manufacturing, as Vice President International Finance. From March 2003 to April 2006, Mr. Chloupek served Celetronix USA, Inc., an Asia based electronics manufacturing company, as Vice President International Finance (Celetronix USA, Inc. was acquired by Jabil Circuit, Inc.). From March 2001 to April 2003, Mr. Chloupek served Brush Engineered Materials (NYSE: BW) as Division Controller for their optoelectronics division, Zentrix. Mr. Chloupek received his Bachelors degree in business from Arizona State University, his M.B.A. from the American University in Washington, D.C. and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and Certified Management Accountant (inactive).

Josef Berger |

Josef Berger serves as Source Photonics' Global Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining Source Photonics, Josef served at Opnext Inc. for approximately 10 years in various roles where he managed the company's overall product portfolios. His previous employment included position in Sales and Product Management, at AIFOtec, a fiber optics component startup in Germany which was later on acquired by Finisar. Josef holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics and Technology at the Technical University of Munich, Munich, Germany. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Physics at the San Diego State University. Josef completed the Executive Education Program for Leadership Development at the Harvard Business School in 2011.

Mark Heimbuch, Ph.D., has served as our Chief Technical Officer since June 2000 with direct responsibility for product development of fiber to the home transceivers. From March 1997 to June 2000, Dr. Heimbuch served as Director of Research and Development for the optical components division of MRV including the optoelectronic device fabrication facility. Dr. Heimbuch received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from Oregon State University and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara in the area of InP based Optoelectronic devices.

Yu-Heng Jan, Ph.D. |

Yu-Heng Jan, Ph.D., has served as our Chief Operating Officer and General Manager for our Taiwan operations since July 2007. From March 2003 to July 2007, Dr. Jan served as the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager for the Taiwan facility of our wholly-owned subsidiary LuminentOIC, Inc. From September 2000 to March 2003, Dr. Jan was the Vice President of the optical component division of MRV, where he managed numerous research and development programs on semiconductor lasers, receivers and optical transceivers. Dr. Jan received his M.S. degree from National Taiwan University in 1990 with research topics of AlGaAs Semiconductor Lasers and Heterojunction Bipolar Transistors. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 1997 from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he focused on InP based tunable lasers and tunable receivers. Dr. Jan is currently a member of IEEE.

Weiming Li has served as our General Manager, China since July 2008. Previously, Mr. Li served Source Photonics as VP Operations from December 2007 to July 2008. Prior to joining Source Photonics, Mr. Li served Auxora Networks as VP Operations and GM. From November 2003 through September 2006, Mr Li held the positions of VP Manufacturing of Photop Group & GM of Photop Koncent, located in Fuzhou, China. From April 1999 through July 2003, Mr Li served as Global VP Cooperation and General Manager of both Oplink China and Zhuhai Oplink Communictions Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Oplink, Inc. [NASDQ: Oplk], and has also served as Oplink's VP Business Development. Prior to these posts, Mr. Li held various positions from 1982 through 1999 in General Management, Technology Strategy, and Product Development management in various fiber optic, industrial automation, and machinery industries in both the US and in China. Mr. Li holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chong Qing University in Chong Qing, PRC, and a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Control from San Jose State University.

Thomas Liljeberg, Ph.D., has served as our Sr. VP Product Development and Product Line Management since January 2009. Prior to this, Dr. Liljeberg served as our Global Vice President, Product Management and Marketing from July 2007. Dr. Liljeberg has been with us since September 2004, first as Director of Product Management, and since April 2006 as Vice President of Product Management and Marketing.From September 2001 to September 2004, Dr. Liljeberg was with Agility Communications, a tunable laser company, where he worked on component design and program management for widely tunable lasers and transmitter products. Dr. Liljeberg holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Denmark, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Santa Barbara.

Wayne Morin |

Wayne Morin serves as Source Photonics' Vice President of Global Supply Chain. Wayne has approximately 30 years of experience in supply chain management and business and product development. Prior to his employment at Source Photonics, in 2009, Wayne served as a Senior Consultant at Verizon Communications, Inc., leading a cross functional team that negotiated international distribution agreements to support Verizon global business requirements. From 2007 to 2009, Wayne also served as a Consultant at Resources Global Professionals, a professional services company that provides outsourced professional services to corporate clients in the US. His responsibilities included management of client's product transition from US based contract manufacturing to China based contract manufacturing. From 2004 to 2007, Wayne served as Vice President at Texas Prototypes, Inc. (TXP), a design support company specializing in new product development services, where he directed operations and business development of the Photonic division. Prior to this, Wayne held various positions in the commodity procurement and strategic supply chain management in companies like Alcatel, JDSU, NCR, Sun Microsystems, and Fujitsu. Wayne holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Arizona and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Dr. Amit Nagra serves as Source Photonics' Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this role, he served as the Global VP, Supply Chain and Operations Planning from 2009 to 2010. Dr. Nagra also held the position of Vice President, Systems and Global Planning from July 2007 to December 2008. In this role, he was in-charged of Global Supply Chain and Operations Planning as well as the architecture of the Oracle ERP system, Advanced Supply Chain Planning module, and Analysis Tools Development. Dr. Nagra has been with Source Photonics since June 2005 and has held positions as Director of Operations and Director of New Product Introduction. Prior to his employment at Source Photonics, he worked at Phasebridge, Inc. (acquired by EMCORE Corporation) as the technical/program lead on optoelectronic integration efforts from March 2001 to June 2005. Dr. Nagra holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Business and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Dan Panzica |

Dan Panzica serves as Source Photonics' Chief Quality Officer and Senior Vice President of Operations. Dan has experience in end-to-end Product Quality, Social-Environmental Responsibility (SER), Business Continuity Planning, new factory start-up, manufacturing engineering, and business improvement initiatives. Dan has more than 25 years of experience in quality and manufacturing management particularly in the electronics industry. He also has over 20 years of international experience when he worked for manufacturing companies in Malaysia and in China. Dan has experience in factory start-up and turnaround. He held a VP CMMSG position in the Quality Division at Foxconn Corporation, Shenzhen, China, from 2007 to 2011. He served in various roles in quality and operations during his employment at US and Asian companies like Sumco Corporation, Dell, Western Digital, Seagate Technologies, and Applied Magnetics. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the Bonaventure University in New York. He holds a Master of Science degree in Systems Management at the University of Southern California. He also has certifications in quality management and operations such as the A.S.Q. Certified Quality Engineer certification, ISO 9000 Lead Assessor certification, and the Six Sigma Black Belt certification.

Robin Zhao |

Robin Zhao serves as Source Photonics' Vice President of OSA Division. Robin is responsible for all aspects of Source Photonics' OSA division from enhancing our competitive position in OSA technology to improving gross margins. Robin brings to Source a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked for a solid 22 years in the field of OSA engineering and 15 years fulfilling general management roles. Prior to joining Source Photonics, Robin served as a General Manager at Sunstar from May 1998 to May 2010. From March 1996 through October 1997, Robin held the position of VP and GM at Comheart Communication Co., Ltd, located in Chengdu, China. From December 1992 through November 1995, Robin served as a Manufacturing Manager and as an RD Manager at Photon (Neo Photonics). He was also one of the founders of Neo Photonics, Sunstar and Comheart. From August 1988 to December 1992, he held the position of an Engineer at Leshan Radio Company Ltd. (LRC). Robin holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology in Shanxi, PRC.
